Today is just another day. No big plans, nothing out of the ordinary. Just living life with my kids. And I'm really excited about it! Our new year has been fraught with challenges, but it's also been overflowing with blessing. Each day the kids and I are reading a chapter out of Acts and talking about it - we'll be done with it by the end of the month. We are doing more formal schooling, too, as Lil Man is now in 1st grade. I have a weekly date set with each of them and we all seem to treasure those times. I started a blog where I chronicle our daily adventures as a homeschooling family -- mostly just to have a record of our activities each day without generating more paperwork, but you can check it out at GRACEFUL GROWING if you're interested.
I'm off to enjoy my children ... intentionally, sincerely, excitedly. I hope you do the same! Take 5 minutes with each of them just to pour your love out all over them. Take 5 minutes to tell them why you like being their mom. It's great for them and (if you're anything like me) it blesses your heart, too!
