Healthy Start: Meal Plan and Time Plan for the New Year

Today marks life back to normal in our household.  We have wrapped up the holidays and truly enjoyed our family time.  Awesome Hubby was home for three and a half days with us -- something truly rare unless we are on vacation -- and we loved having time with all of us home together.  We worked out in the yard, the men had a boys day out, we played scads of games, snuggled, giggled, chatted, and just loved our family time.

Today it is back to school, back to work, and back to the drawing board for a menu plan and a game plan.  And though it's back to routine, we are always praying for moments when we can reach out to our children's hearts and reach them in a slightly special way.  I pray you ask God for those, too, and find them!  Enjoy your family as you live today and this week ... time is the one resource you can never recover.

Here's what we're looking at this week:

Our focus this year is on a healthy family - healthy because we spend time investing in our relationships and because we steward over our physical health as well.  Now that Christmas has passed (but the oh-so-earth shattering revelation of it has not!), we have the time and energy available to invest in creating a revolution in our home.
